The main investors and operators behind Glass Group are the Harding Family who have been involved in the glass industry since 1918, when C. H. Harding and his son, Wayne Harding Sr., established a glass manufacturing plant in Ft. Smith Arkansas.

This is one of the most fascinating books that has come out of the World War II era. Semi-autobiographically, it tracks a young Navy pilot, Waite Davis, before and after he becomes a civilian test pilot.  

Going from rookie to pro demanded "an edge." At first, evil lets Waite succeed occasionally, trying to disarm him; not succeeding, evil unleashes its arsenal.
